Shelvin’s story was born from a pragmatic observation in the retail world: building a fast distribution of new products in independent stores represents a considerable challenge. However, a smoother introduction of these products would offer benefits for all stakeholders: retailers, manufacturers and stores.
Traditionally, sending field representatives remains an attractive approach, but it limits coverage to a limited number of stores in a short period of time.
It was then that Christophe, with experience in an international industrial group, had an innovative idea: what if an application could combine relevant information with financial incentives? He left his position to create Shelvin with Guillaume, an expert from the technology world.
The team quickly demonstrated the effectiveness of its system, first in Belgium, then in France and Italy. In 2022, a major turning point occurred with the merger with the Sarawak Group, which operates in several European countries. This partnership, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong field presence, emerged as a strategic growth opportunity.
Since then, Shelvin has continued to grow. The company has expanded its team and enhanced its services, with a clear mission: to simplify and optimize sales initiatives for stores. Retailers can now encourage stores to pre-order promotional volumes or guarantee the necessary visibility during major operations. More than just a tool, Shelvin has become a solution that transforms in-store fulfillment into a source of revenue for banners and purchasing groups, without any additional effort for suppliers.
